The standard configuration of the MINIMO system is designed for 9mm-223, but will handle both less and more energy than that.
Unfortunately, rimfire isn’t enough to make it work properly in standard configuration.
HOWEVER, that’s why we make these 3/16″ AR400 rimfire specific paddles for the MINIMO. Simply swap out the standard paddles and mechanism with one bolt it’ll be suitable for use with all rimfire we’ve tried except Winchester 17 Super Magnum, it’s too fast for the AR400.
Two parts are included as conversion parts. There is a head paddle with integrated mechanism, and a vital paddle with integrated mechanism. These lightweight paddles will work just fine with subsonic 22LR.
These paddles are not suitable for use with centerfire calibers. Even if the steel will hold up (it will) to service calibers, the welds won’t. So don’t, you’ll break it.
