MOA’s Modular Base target stand for mounting steel shooting targets on an upright is bone head simple.
This three piece unit gives you the ability to mount a vertical 2×4″. By adding additional vertical pieces (see related items), more vertical 2x4s can be mounted. With additional base pieces, you can daisy chain the units to the stand for additional stability.

I use these all the time. They fit in a 40mm ammo can alongside some of the smaller MOA targets and make for an easy way to transport steel. Throw a few set of these and some 2x4s into the bed of a truck or side by side with some targets and you can set up a range almost anywhere.
